This PVC entrance mat combines a soft foam structure with raised surface textures and open gaps. Polyester mesh reinforcement supports the foam construction, while customizable printed designs allow buyers to develop coordinated entrance mat collections.

Surface Structure and Everyday Comfort

The raised foam ribs create a textured contact surface underfoot. The flexible PVC foam adds cushioning and helps reduce direct contact with cold floors. Its water-resistant surface supports routine wiping and rinsing.

The open structure is not a continuous waterproof barrier. Water and fine dirt may reach the floor beneath the mat, so the underlying area should also be checked and cleaned.

Choosing a Size and Checking Door Clearance

Standard sizes are 45 × 65 cm and 65 × 150 cm, with custom dimensions available. Choose the size according to the doorway width, available floor space and direction of foot traffic.

Before ordering, measure the smallest gap between the door and the finished floor throughout the door’s opening path. Compare this with the actual thickness of the selected mat, including its edge finish, and allow extra clearance so the door opens freely without catching or dragging the mat. Confirm fit with a sample.

Indoor and Sheltered Entrance Applications

Indoor entrances and doorways are the primary intended applications. Place the mat flat on a clean, dry and level floor, and check its stability on the intended flooring before use.

For covered outdoor entrances, confirm the selected material and printed finish against the expected moisture, sunlight and temperature exposure. Use in fully exposed outdoor areas requires weathering validation.

Removing Mud, Sand and Everyday Dirt

Lift the mat and gently shake off loose sand and dry dirt.
Use a soft brush to loosen dirt caught between the foam ribs.
Wipe or rinse the mat with water; use a mild detergent when needed.
Clean the floor underneath and let both surfaces dry before replacing the mat.
Avoid abrasive brushes, strong solvents and high-temperature cleaning.
