FAQ About Pet Warm Mat
1. How does the pet warm mat keep dogs and cats warm?
The soft flannel surface and PP cotton filling provide thermal insulation, helping pets stay comfortable on cold indoor floors without electricity.
2. Is the pet warm mat washable?
Yes. The zippered design allows the inner cushion to be removed for convenient washing and daily maintenance.
3. Will the pet warm mat slip on tile or hardwood floors?
The textured anti-slip backing helps reduce movement on smooth indoor floors, including tile and hardwood.
4. Can Uwin customize pet warm mats for private-label brands?
Yes. Uwin supports custom sizes, colors, fabrics, filling materials, logos, and retail packaging for OEM and wholesale orders.
5. Does Uwin offer electric heated pet mats for colder environments?
Yes. In addition to non-electric pet warm mats, Uwin offers 5V low-voltage heated pet mats with adjustable temperature control and optional PCM heat storage for up to 4 hours. Explore our Low-Voltage Heated Pet Mat for more details.
Pet Warming Mats with Insulation and Optional PCM Heat Storage
Uwin offers two pet warming mat constructions for OEM and private-label projects. The basic version uses layered insulation to help reduce heat loss. The PCM version adds a phase change material layer for heat storage and gradual release after heat charging. Neither version generates heat through a continuously powered heating element.
Layered Construction
- Faux rabbit fur surface:
Provides a soft contact surface for pets to rest on. - Quiet aluminum film:
Forms part of the thermal construction, with a quiet-film specification intended to reduce rustling during movement. - EVA insulation layer:
Helps limit heat loss toward the surface beneath the mat. - Honeycomb anti-slip backing:
Helps reduce mat movement. Grip depends on the floor surface and placement conditions. - Optional PCM layer:
Absorbs and stores heat, then releases it gradually as it cools.
Two Warming Options
Basic Warming Mat
The basic construction provides a ready-to-place resting mat for everyday indoor use, pet bed setups and cooler seasons. It needs no electrical connection and relies on insulation to reduce heat loss rather than actively generating heat.
PCM Heat Storage Mat
The PCM construction combines the basic insulating layers with phase change material. Once heat has been stored, the material releases it gradually as the mat cools. This option is intended for product concepts that require stored-heat release in addition to insulation.
The heat-charging method, temperature range and release duration must be confirmed for the selected specification. Performance depends on the PCM formulation, material quantity, initial temperature and surrounding conditions.
Structural Advantages for Product Development
Soft Contact Surface with Insulation Beneath
The faux rabbit fur surface provides comfort at the contact layer, while the EVA layer helps reduce heat loss below it.
Quiet Film and Anti-Slip Placement
The quiet aluminum film addresses rustling within the layered structure, while the honeycomb backing helps keep the mat positioned on the intended surface.
A Shared Structure with Two Thermal Functions
Brands can choose basic insulation or a PCM-enhanced construction according to their product positioning. The distinction gives buyers a clear basis for comparing the two versions.
OEM and Private-Label Customization
Uwin supports pet product development with material, color and structure customization, custom branding and retail-ready packaging. Final dimensions and construction should be agreed during sample development.
Sampling and Specification Confirmation
Before production, confirm the version, model, dimensions, layer specifications, care instructions and packaging. For PCM projects, also confirm heat-charging instructions and performance targets through sample evaluation. Send Uwin your target size, preferred construction and branding requirements to discuss a customized sample.
